Maple Almond Gelato - now available!

Yours truly has just returned from a Thanksgiving mission in our nation’s capital and was lucky enough to score some maple syrup direct from those glorious maple trees across the river in Quebec.

What better way to use delicious maple syrup than to make some Little Miss Gelato. To add a little flare, toasted almonds replace the age-old walnuts and presto – Maple Almond Gelato is here! It is the first time Little Miss Gelato has made this flavour, so feedback is more than welcome and appreciated (as always).

The ingredients are all natural and the maple flavour is 100% pure maple syrup – no artificial colours or flavours used here (or any other LMG product for that matter). This decedent flavour is available until the maple syrup stocks have been depleted. So grab a bit of mother nature’s nectar infused with Little Miss Gelato Italian ice cream and enjoy.

Maple Almond Gelato is available in Nelson at: Reo’s Video, Save-On Foods and Burrell’s Grocer.

Special orders are available for large gatherings or for those who like to consume large amounts of gelato in short periods of time!

Did you know:

It takes 40 litres of maple tree sap to make 1 litre of maple syrup.
Quebec alone produces 75% of the world’s supply of maple syrup.
First nations people made maple syrup long before Europeans arrived.
