Pumpkin Pie Gelato Now Available!

Autumn has arrived and Pumpkin Pie Gelato is here for a very limited time.
At Little Miss Gelato we only use the best all-natural ingredients. Made from real pumpkin, maple syrup and spices, this is the perfect Thanksgiving treat.

Did you know that the word “pumpkin” comes from the Greek “pepon” meaning “large melon”? Actually a member of the squash family, native North Americans used pumpkins as a staple in their diet centuries before Europeans arrived. As today, early settlers to North America used pumpkin in a wide variety of recipes from desserts to stews and soups. The origin of the traditional thanksgiving pumpkin pie is believed to be settlers who sliced the top off a pumpkin, removed the seeds, then filled the remaining shell with milk, honey, and spices. The pumpkin was then baked in hot ashes.

Available at Save-On Foods, Burrell’s, Reo’s and at Pixie Candy (by the scoop), this creamy and deliciously pumpkin dessert is only available until Thanksgiving. So, pick up a container and enjoy a little gelato with your fall!
